Privacy Policy
Data We Collect
embedtableau collects data in two contexts: account data from publishers (name, email, payment details, site URLs) and impression-level data from end users visiting publisher sites (IP address, browser type, device type, and ad interaction signals).
End-user data is collected through ad tags placed on publisher sites. This data is used exclusively for ad targeting, frequency capping, and fraud detection. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any directly identifying information from end users.
How We Use Your Data
Publisher account data is used to operate your account, process payments, send platform updates, and provide customer support. We do not sell publisher contact data to third parties. Impression data is used to match ad inventory to relevant demand and to generate your performance reports.
Cookies
Ad tags served through embedtableau set third-party cookies for audience segmentation and frequency capping. These cookies have a maximum lifespan of 90 days. Publishers are responsible for disclosing cookie use to their site visitors per applicable law.
Users visiting publisher sites can opt out of interest-based advertising through the IAB's opt-out mechanism or their browser's cookie controls. embedtableau honors all valid opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC) headers.
Data Sharing
Impression-level bid data is shared with demand-side platforms and advertisers participating in auctions on the embedtableau network. This data is anonymized and aggregated — no individual user profiles are sold. Publisher earnings data is shared only with the account holder and relevant payment processors.
Security
All data transmitted between publisher sites, ad servers, and the embedtableau dashboard is encrypted via TLS 1.3. Payment data is processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment partners and is never stored on embedtableau servers.
Access to publisher account data is restricted to authorized embedtableau staff on a need-to-know basis. We conduct internal security reviews quarterly and engage third-party penetration testing annually.
Your Rights
Publishers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account data at any time by emailing info@embedtableau. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, includ info@embedtableau.com ing the right to data portability.
Third Parties
embedtableau integrates with third-party services including payment processors, analytics providers, and consent management platforms. Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. Links to relevant policies are available in the platform's integration settings.
Data Retention
Publisher account data is retained for the duration of the account relationship plus 24 months for legal and audit purposes. Impression-level data is retained for 13 months to support historical reporting, then permanently deleted.
Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy was last updated on January 1, 2026. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered publishers at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date signals acceptance of the revised policy.
